We provide care, comfort and support to patients and their families (in their home or at a nursing facility) when a life-limiting illness no longer responds to curative treatments and the patient has been given a diagnosis of 6 months or less to live. The majority of our patients are elderly.

We have an on-going need for volunteers to provide patient and caregiver support by means of companionship to the patient, visiting, reading to patients, running errands for patients, etc. and caregiver relief/respite by sitting with patient while primary caregiver has time for themselves, if even for an hour or two a week. No specific time commitment or requirements... just as you can. We also have a need for clerical volunteers at our Burleson office. Our patients are located all over Tarrant and Johnson counties.
