Opportunity: |
Equest needs adults and teenagers who are interested in assisting children and adults with disabilities as they participate in Equest's program of therapeutic horseback riding.
Volunteers assist in riding classes, physical therapy sessions, with administrative office work, and with special events such as RideFest, horse shows, Moon and Stars Gala, Special Olympics, etc.
Program volunteers assist as sidewalkers or leaders. No prior horse experience necessary. Every volunteer will attend our orientation and hands-on training.
