Cosplay

Ah, cosplay- the chance for otaku to dress up and make fools of themselves in public and maybe win a prize. Our cosplay contest is unlike any other con cosplay for we have judge and audience participation. Just as the jesters of old had to put up with things being thrown at them, so too must our participants. Last year, we had little foil balls. This year, we will have paper balls and other bits of stuff. Ready made "ammo" for the audience will be available at the door for $1.
Here are the rules:
Entrants must come and sign up at the registration table in the anime garage sale room no later than a time that has not yet been set. Participants must be ready to go at least 30 minutes from when cosplay starts. There is no limit to walkons or skits. Skits can be no longer than five minutes, but it's not like we're gonna hold you to a stop watch. If the skit runs a bit longer, that's ok. Just remember that if we don't like your skit or you do a poor acting job, then we can and will throw stuff at you. Don't be scared though. We all have a pretty good sense of humor.
Other rules:
1) No profanity.
2) No racial slurs.
3) No inappropriate gestures.
4) Prop weapons are allowed.
5) No pyrotechnics.
6) Use your best judgement and common sense when following the rules. If you are unsure, please get your skit cleared with one of the officers.
Basically, if what happens in your skit, happens in anime (not hentai or ecchi) then it's ok.
