The Alumni Database Our Alumni database is quite possibly the most current and complete it's been in years. Special Thanks to Kappa Kappa Psi and Tau Beta Sigma members for their assistance in compiling this information. Good data entry help is hard to find. If you've changed addresses, never receive communication, etc., we need to update the database. Until the member information form is repaired, please e-mail Brad Bonebrake.
The Alumni Membership Base In recent years, Alumni membership at any given time has appeared to wane, due in large part to the perception of excessive time demands on the existing membership. This situation has been a sort of vicious cycle - without a large membership base, the time demand on existing members is guaranteed to increase, and but with higher time demands will come lower membership numbers. Obviously, then, it is the goal of the Association to increase the membership base while simultaneously decreasing the time demand. Future Vision for the Association The original long-term goal of the UTA Band Alumni Association was to develop an endowment for the UTA Bands that would guarantee annual financial support. That goal was achieved back in 1998. Although the Association has since been transitioning to newer members and leadership, it is past time to begin developing a vision for the Association in its next 30 years.
