August 2006 - Adrian Taylor, Arlington '97 Adrian Taylor, Arlington ‘97, has been nominated for the Blue and Gold award this month for his years of service as an Alumnus for the Arlington Chapter. Adrian just recently started his own mortgage company, Family1sthome. After graduating from UT-Arlington and working in the mortgage business for 6 years, Adrian felt it was time to start his own business, and now serves as co-owner of the company. The Arlington Alumni Chapter is very proud of Adrian and hopes that all alumni of Delta Upsilon will help promote Adrian and his company. July 2006 - Kurt Kmak, Arlington '97 Kurt Kmak was nominated for the Blue and Gold award this month for his years of service as an Alumnus for the Arlington Chapter, and his leadership in the community in the City of
Darrell was selected as the June 2006 Blue & Gold alumni for his continuted work and support of the active chapter. Darrell was recognized at the 2006 Outstanding Student Leadership Awards Banquet as the "Outstanding Organizational Advisor." This is Darrell first time to win the award, and the second time Delta Upsilon has won it. Advisor, Pat O'Neill was the last to win it in the mid-1980's. Delta Upsilon is also the first organization to win this award twice. The alumni and the active chapter of the Arlington Chapter would like to congratulate Darrell for this achievement and thank him for all the hard work and dedication he puts into the chapter. May 2006 - Scott Reading, Arlington '01 Scott Reading was recently promoted to the Vice President at Frost Bank in Arlington, Texas. Through his hard work and dedication to the company, Scott has continued to not only support the company inside the doors, but outside as well. Scott represents Frost Bank in many ways, including involvement with the River Legacy Foundation, the City of Arlington Downtown Development Council, and serving as the Treasurer for the Arlington Life Shelter. The alumni and the active chapter of the Arlington Chapter would like to congratulate Scott for this achievement and thank him for all the hard work and pride he brings to the chapter.
