Jimmy Turner Memorial Scholarship Delta Upsilon prides itself on being able to offer skills in professional and personal development. The Arlington Chapter of Delta Upsilon is proud to be able to offer two $250 scholarships to two young men who show superiority through the following areas: Grade Point Average, SAT (or ACT) Test Score, Participation in extracurricular activities and community service, Work and volunteer experience which shows motivation, leadership, and perseverance., Written Essay, Letter of recommendation from a teacher, Current Transcript. Stacey Farmer Memorial Scholarship
A new initiate that has accumulated the highest GPA during his pledge semester will be awarded the Stacy Farmer Memorial Scholarship worth $200 to reimburse the member for his initiation fee. To qualify, the new initiate must have completed a minimum of twelve hours that semester at UTA and have scored no less than a 3.00 grade point average. Kent Schnable Memorial Scholarship The active with the highest GPA at the end of each semester will be awarded the Kent Schnable Memorial scholarship worth $100 to be credited to that member’s accounts receivable. The GPA for this scholarship must be above a 3.0 and the active must complete 12 hours. Patrick Gale Memorial Scholarship Two Patrick Gale Memorial Scholarships worth $50 shall be awarded to two member’s accounts receivable who obtain the most improved GPA over the last two semesters. Both semesters GPA must be above a 2.25 and the member must take at least 6 hours both semesters. |
