ABOUT UTA POPS

UTA POPS is a non-profit, pre-professional organization established in 2001 to provide support and information helpful to those students in pursuit of an optometry career.

Meetings usually fall on a Friday at 12:00pm in room 102 of the Life Science Building, but please check the website and CALENDAR for details.

Prospective Optometry students can look forward to the following benefits:

1. Meeting other students with similar career interests
2. Guest speakers and optometrists sharing first-hand knowledge
3. Extensive Optometry advice and mentorship
4. Job/Volunteer Placement in the Arlington area
5. OAT preparation

HOW TO BECOME A POPS MEMBER
Fill out the application with your name, address, phone number and email address and then pay your dues. $20.00 for a 1-year membership or $15.00 per semester membership. Membership applications will be available at all meetings.

UTA POPS shirts are not included in the membership dues, and are sold for $12. You may order as many as you'd like. All proceeds go back to support POPS. Order forms are available at all meetings.
