The SCC is a branch of student government representing the College of Science student body. We are your voice in student government. We support the interests of science students and provide programs promoting the UTA College of Science and scientific knowledge in general.
Often this is done by encouraging the organizations within the college to participate in our college wide events such as the Science Dean's Forum, Science Week, Outstanding Teacher nominations and general science lectures. We also provide publications including The Science Alliance and this website.
On this website you will find information about SCC events, our online printable newsletter, contact information of various people in the college, links to other student organizations, pictures taken at our activities and more. How to join the SCC: Members of the SCC include the leaders and members of science organizations, College of Science Student Congress members and students interested in unifying activities we provide the College of Science. Regular attendance at meetings is the surest way of becoming an active member. SCC meetings take place every other Friday. Please come and join us!
