Hearing

After meeting with the conduct officer, if the student disputes the allegations upon which the conduct violations are based, a hearing officer approved by the Vice President for Student Affairs will be appointed to hear the allegations and determine an outcome. The accused student will receive a 10 days notice of the hearing. The notice shall be in writing and mailed to the student by certified mail to the address appearing in the registrar's record or delivered in person to the student and shall:

state the name, address and telephone number of the hearing officer
specify the date, time and place for the hearing
state the allegations that are the basis for the disciplinary hearing
provide a summary statement of the evidence supporting the allegations
