2008 Parade of Lights

Celebrate the Holiday Season with UT Arlington as we participate in a Holiday celebration. This year support UT Arlington as we participate in the Arlington Parade of Lights.

This year the Arlington Parade of Lights will be on Saturday, December 6th. To learn more about the parades visit www.arlingtonparadeoflights.com. This event includes lots of fun and festivities for the entire family and will attract people from throughout the community.

If you would like to support this year's parade float entry by purchasing an official UT Arlington Parade of Lights Long Sleeve Shirt for $12.00 please complete and return the Long Sleeve Shirt Order Form (Word doc) by 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 26th (participation in the parade is not necessary to purchase a shirt).

The parade is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. in Downtown Arlington. All friends and family of the UT Arlington Community are welcome to attend and participate in the community parade. Any individuals wishing to participate in the parade are expected to purchase a UT Arlington Parade of Lights Shirt and walk with the parade float along the route.

Arlington Parade of Lights – Saturday, December 6, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. Participants should arrive to the UT Arlington Float no later than 5:30 p.m. After signing-up we will contact you with specific information about our parade float number. The Parade line-up area is on Center St. between the Arlington City Hall and Main Library.
