Graduate Student Senate
About Graduate Student senate
The Graduate Student Senate (GSS) is the official representation for graduate students at UT Arlington. Members are appointed to serve on over 20 University committees, insuring graduate students a voice in the University community. GSS considers resolutions to improve grad student life on campus, hosts guest speakers to discuss current issues at the University, creates ad-hoc committees to research potential changes in University policy that may impact grad students, and assists with Graduate Forums like ACES and GradFest. Members participate in community service projects such as The Big Event and attend social events for graduate students and faculty.

Attend a meeting in person or virtually. Join us for Thirsty Wednesdays at Gilligan's, around 6:30pm till the conversation is over. Come early or late, feel free to interrupt – we know grad students are busy and we want you to participate whenever you can. Help out at an Event or participate in committee work.
