I'd like to welcome you, new and returning Mavericks, back to UTA! With all the changes happening on campus this year, we are in for an exciting year in Maverick country. I hope you take advantage of all the new opportunities and experiences that are coming your way. Along with following your dreams academically, I charge you step out of your comfort zone and experience parts of UTA you may not have participated in before. Go to a basketball game, become a mentor, or join a new organization, the choice is yours. Also take advantage of new resources like the Student Money Management Center, visit the new Center for African American Studies, and explore our new College Park District. Our years at this wonderful university are only a short period in our lives, so I encourage you to make the most of it and create memories that will last a lifetime.
