Internal Committees
Student Congress has five internal committees.
- Academic Affairs
- Community Affairs
- Student Affairs
- Rules and Appropriations
- External Relations Council
The first three meet bimonthly to discuss and research resolutions appropriate to the respective committee. The External Relations Council researches local, state, and federal legislation that could impact higher education and helps with the MavsVote! Voter Registration drives. The Rules and Appropriations Committee deals with issues related to Student Congress rules and the appropriation of funds to student organizations through the Program Assistance Fund.
