Whereas:

UTA does not offer any fax machine on campus for student use; and

Whereas:

Faxing documentation is required for the most efficient method of service while working with state/governmental agencies, insurance companies, doctor offices, and potential employers; and

Whereas:

It is hard for students to get access to a fax machine between classes, work, and their other responsibilities during regular business hours.

Be It Therefore Resolved That:

UTA have available a fax machine in Ransom Hall or the Central Library at little or no cost so students may send and receive faxes.

Be It Further Resolved That:

If a cost is implemented it be taken from the student's print quota.

Be It Further Resolved That:

This service include out of state and/or long distance fax numbers.
