Remarks:

There's already avenues for purchasing cheap University apparel online via Alumni Association and soon to be presented UT Arlington athletics.

Whereas:

The UT Arlington bookstore is the primary location for students, faculty, and alumni to purchase UT Arlington products such as shirts, mugs, hats, and school supplies all with UT Arlington logos; and

Whereas:

Anyone who wanted to could, at any time and from multiple vendors, purchase UT Austin apparel and merchandise in a variety of styles; and

Whereas:

The UT Arlington bookstore is the only place in the world that officially sells UT Arlington apparel and merchandise.

Be It Therefore Resolved That:

Every apparel item, including but not limited to: athletics, T-Shirts, Sweatshirts, Hats, Shorts & Pants, Polos & Golf Wear, Women's, Kids, Outerwear and items of merchandise be available for online purchase.

Be It Further Resolved That:

Any and all styles and varieties of the above mentioned items that are available for immediate in-store purchase at any given time be offered for online purchase in an attempt to allow fellow "Mavericks" around the world to be given the option to wear and display the latest styles and varieties of the current UT Arlington student body.
