Whereas:

UT Arlington does not offer any form of recognition for these elected student leaders, consisting of: UTA Ambassadors, Student Congress Members and Student Service Fee Advisory Committee members, during graduation ceremonies; and

Whereas:

These elected student leaders are the representatives of the UT Arlington student body and put in endless hours of hard work, service, and dedication to help better UT Arlington.

Be It Therefore Resolved That:

These Student leaders receive recognition during graduation ceremonies via a cord/sash/medallion as seen fit by UT Arlington and the administration.

Be It Further Resolved That:

The Student leader only receives the designated form of leadership recognition at graduation if they abide by all the rules and regulations designated for their leadership position; this includes but is not limited to rules regarding attendance, participation hours, and professional conduct to be verified by the appropriate advisor.
