A similar parking ticket "forgiveness" policy is already available.

Whereas:

Many students have a limited expendable income; and

Whereas:

A parking violation fine can cost upwards of $20; and

Whereas:

Students are likely to incur at least one parking violation during their college career at UT Arlington.

Be It Therefore Resolved That:

Students are forgiven one parking violation during their college career at UT Arlington.

Be It Further Resolved That:

A student must be considered in good standing with the university at the time of the violation to take advantage of the parking ticket forgiveness option.
