Remarks:

This is a potential fire hazard for the library, causing unnecessary evacuations. The library would have to build an enclosed kitchen area. It would be too costly for a small convenience.

Whereas:

Many students utilize the Central Library during the night time; and

Whereas:

Sometimes students bring frozen and packaged food with them that requires heating; and

Whereas:

the University Center market is the only place with a microwave available to students, but it is closed at night.

Be It Therefore Resolved That:

A microwave be made available to students in the Central Library.
