Student organizations already receive a discounted rental price for equipment.

Whereas:

Registered student organizations can reserve rooms in the University Center for various meetings and events at no cost; and

Whereas:

Student organizations do have to pay for any equipment rented from UC Operations; and

Whereas:

this sometimes discourages student organizations from hosting an event due to budget constraints.

Be It Therefore Resolved That:

UC Operations equipment be available to registered student organizations at no cost.
