Remarks:

Whereas:

Student Organizations frequently need and use the University Center for various events at a valuable discount; and

Whereas:

these Student Organizations often have limited and controlled access to funds and fundraising; and

Whereas:

due to the large number of events in the University Center, billing for University costs can take several weeks to months after the actual event takes place; making organizational budgeting difficult; and

Whereas:

Student Organizations can find it difficult to make a lump sum payment in a timely manner for an event that may have occurred last month in order to stay active.

Be It Therefore Resolved That:

Student Organizations be allowed to pay for University Center fees in structured installment plans based on the total amount of fees.
