    Remarks:
    Whereas: Due to the current construction of the Engineering Research Complex and the anticipated construction of the Special Events Center and its associated projects, the UT Arlington campus will be changing dramatically in a short period of time; and
    Whereas: As various initiatives of the Campus Master Plan are implemented over the next several years, the UT Arlington community will need to be informed of these changes; and
    Whereas: These changes can include the day-to-day closures of various university parking lots and streets on campus; and
    Whereas: Lack of knowledge of these closures can greatly inconvenience students, faculty, staff, alumni, university visitors and the general public; and
    Whereas: The “Campus Master Plan and Design Guidelines: Executive Summary” and the Office of Facilities Management current “Project List,” which inform members of the University community of the long-term campus changes, can both currently be found online.
    Be It Therefore Resolved That: The UT Arlington Administration establish and regularly maintain a website or “blog” detailing daily university construction and maintenance projects and any relevant anticipated closures.
    Be It Further Resolved That: This website or “blog” be easily accessible from the UT Arlington website homepage to better inform all members of the University community.
