Presidential Leadership Award

This award is presented by the President of UTA to outstanding metroplex high school seniors who have excelled academically  and demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities.

Value:
Recipients of the award will receive fifteen hundred dollars for their freshman year. Criteria:      Academic: High school grades, subjects taken, rank in class, and test scores are evaluated.
Eligibility:
Open to area high school seniors.

Leadership:
Honors, awards, membership and/or offices in organizations, athletics, or other school activities are considered.
Community Service:
Volunteer service as part of organizations, such as the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, serving as a hospital volunteer, work with church organizations, social organizations, involvement in fund-raising (e.g. the March of Dimes, Muscular Dystrophy), roles in any other community organizations. Part-time or summer employment should also be included.
