Graduate Student Council

The Graduate Student Council (GSC) is an organization specifically for graduate students at UTA. Members plan and implement events to provide opportunities for graduate students to network and interact with peers outside of their discipline.


GSC is currently accepting applications for planning committee members for Fall 2019. Requirements to be a member include: must be available every other Wednesday evening at 5:30PM for meetings; must be able to participate in events; must be enrolled in at least 3 credit hours; and must have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA.

EXEC Board positions

GSC is currently accepting applications for three executive board positions for the 2019-2020 academic year. Click here to view the position descriptions and requirements.

Interested candidates should email with your name, UTA email address, and the titles of the positions you want to run for. (Note: You are able to run for all three. We will elect VP first, followed by Secretary, and then by PR Director.) The deadline to submit your intent is Wednesday, September 11 at 5PM.

Exec board elections will occur on September 18.
