Graduate Student Senate

The Graduate Student Senate (GSS) is a representative body, specifically for graduate students at UT Arlington. Senators serve on one of three committees - Resolutions, Programs, and Outreach. Members also participate in community service projects such as The Big Event and Super Service Saturday and attend social events especially for graduate students and faculty.

Information Sessions are September 12th and 19th from 5:30-7:00pm in the Student Government Chambers. Learn more about Graduate Student Senate and its new structure, as well as how to run for a Graduate Student Senator position.  

Filing for Campus Elections will have extended hours on September 26th from 5:00-8:00pm in the Student Government Suites. Graduate Students can also file during the normal hours of 8:00am-5:00pm starting September 24th. 

Campus Election Workshops are October 3rd and 10th from 5:30-7:00 in the Student Government Chambers.

Hispanic Heritage

The Latin American Student Organization regularly participates in Hispanic Heritage Month, Homecoming, Oozeball, and Semana de Cultura.
