Who & What is UTA?
At every orientation, Mr. & Ms. UTA have a 45 minute session with the incoming students' parents. During the session, we teach them a brief history of UTA since 1895, discuss safety issues, what to expect from UTA, & how to help their child get involved & adjust to college life.


Upward Bound Program
Upward Bound is a College Prep Program for High School students during the summer. Mr. & Ms. UTA teach a leadership class during the program. This is a great opportunity for Mr. & Ms. UTA to carry on our legacy of leadership & develop the students into better leaders.

Parent's Weekend Committee
Planning for an All-University Parents Weekend is in the making! Mr. & Ms. UTA serve on this committee along with other selected university faculty & staff. UTA's 1st Annual Parent's Weekend was held Fall 2006.

Academic Integrity Week Committee
Mr. & Ms. UTA serve on the committee to help plan the events for Academic Integrity Week.
