Homecoming
The UTA Ambassadors play a large role not only during the week of Homecoming, but as a part of the UTA Homecoming Committee, which begins planning every fall semester. Ambassadors are specifically responsible for the Homecoming Spirit Banner/light pole decorations and the Homecoming King and Queen Coronation Ceremony. During the week of Homecoming, Ambassadors traditionally assist with Military Science Hall Honor and the Student Leader’ Alumni Reception.

Founders Day
Founders Day is the celebration of UTA's founding, rich history & traditions. Founders Day is the second Wednesday of every October.

4th of July Parade
Ambassadors annually enter a float in the City of Arlington's 4th of July Parade. The parade is nationally known as the largest parade in Texas & one of the largest in the nation.

Arlington Parade of Lights
Since its inaugural year, the UTA Ambassadors have participated in the City-wide Christmas celebration. In 2002, Mr. & Ms. UTA served as Grand Marshals to the parade!

Kahuna Reception
As a way to recognize each other for laudable or silly activities, Ambassadors give "Kahuna" certificates to each other at the end of each meeting. We extend the idea to a monthly award to one student, one faculty member, one staff person and one community member. Certificates (signed by Mr. UTA, Ms. UTA, and the University President) are hand–delivered. During the spring semester, a joint reception (Staff Advisory Council: Be Contagious Award and the Office of the President) is held to further recognize these individuals.

Activities Fair
This event is held on the first Wednesday of each semester. Over 300 organizations set up a table in front of the UC Mall to recruit new members into their organizations. Ambassadors develop a display for the Office of Student Governance and Organizations and host a table. The purpose of this event is to encourage students get involved on campus.
