UTA Creative Writing Group

Who:   Any UTA student (or faculty) interested in writing and sharing their creative writing. The UTA Creative Writing Group is led by two Writing Center tutors, Kate Simpson and Liz Waddle.

What:   The UTA Creative Writing Group is interested in helping improve skills by sharing and critiquing submissions by the group members. Every member must submit at least one time per semester, to maintain their membership. We also explore different writing styles through exercises.

How:   Membership is considered after a writer attends at least three meetings. Members are given access to the submissions file on this webpage, in return for their dedication. They also have the option of helping on the journal's editorial board.

When:   Fridays from 12:00pm-1:00pm
However, we will not meet on occasions when there is no school.
Current meeting news will be posted outside of our meeting room.
