So you think you want to rush

First things first, the university has rules and regulations about who is eligible to rush. We recommend that you visit the greek life website to get more details. If you want to sign up for rush just click the link below.

What are the pledging/initiation requirements?

In order to join a UT Arlington Greek-letter organization as a new student, you must have a cumulative 2.5 UT Arlington GPA and completed 9 hours at UT Arlington. If you are a student transferring into UT Arlington, you must have a 2.5 GPA and provide an academic transcript. You must be transferring from another institution with at least 9 hours

What are DU's pledging/initiation requirements?

Our pledging period is approximately 12 weeks, but is much different from other fraternities. You are treated with the same respect that is given to a fifth year senior, so long as that respect is mutual. We are non-secret and non-hazing; DU is the only International Fraternity founded on these principles. That means there is no hazing of any kind within our chapter, and our chapter meetings are open to the public. We have no secret handshakes or rituals. An associate member must complete 1 semester of member duties, 90% or above on all new member tests, and maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher.

What are some things to remember during rush?

As you go through formal rush, just be yourself, keep an open mind, look at the many different chapters, and try to visit chapters outside of rush events. The last suggestion helps you to get to know what "everyday life" is like in that chapter. You should choose the chapter that makes you feel the most comfortable and at home; you should also ask about the chapter's principles to see if they are in line with your own. Finally, choose the house that you like the guys in most because these will be your brothers for life. Do not simply rely on the external first impression.

If you already know what you need to do for rush then fell free to Contact US or just stop by the house.Remember we are the only non secret fraternity,so our member are always willing to show you around and help you out whit any other questions.

Also because we are non secret we also do what is call Cautions Open Biding which means the even if you missed rush you might still be able to get an offer to join the organization.

Below is our calendar of events feel free to browse through it and if you have the chance come over and join us.
