Lambda Theta Alpha was founded at Kean University,NJ in December of 1975. It was founded as an academic sorority and was the first sorority created to cater towards the needs of Latina women. As sisters of Lambda Theta Alpha, we are thankful that LTA was brought to the UTA campus. LTA has allowed us to come together and to develop into team members, successful leaders, mothers, wives, great role models, and most importantly, sisters to one another.
