20th ANNUAL UT ARLINGTON POWWOW
Saturday, February 28th, All Day
The Native American Student Association is celebrating 20 years at UT-Arlington! Much is being planned for what will be a Homecoming Powwow. Please mark your calendars for February 28, 2015.
You will want to be a Vendor for this special powwow. Our vendor fee is $55 for a 3 table booth / Space , $95 for 4 table booth / Space and $130 for a 5 table booth / Space. I am attaching a vendor reservation form. Please let me know any questions that you have. All proceeds go to the Native Group on campus and scholarships.
If you have been a vendor before – THANK YOU. You will notice a few updates regarding the application – we want to know if you require the Table and Chairs (or provide your own), what you are selling, if you have a tribal affiliation (not required), and extra awareness of the Arts and Crafts Act. Also, no tables will be shared – every vendor will pay for space. We need to protect our vendors and ensure the community that they are buying true Native Crafts.
We are working on a new configuration for vendor tables that will allow extra room for the larger crowds that we all have seen the past couple of years. While this is a good thing, especially for vendors, it does mean a re-thinking of table layout. More information will be coming your way. I am also open to all ideas you want to share.
This will be our 20th year hosting the powwow, and we are truly thankful for everyone in the community who comes together each year to support our students at UT Arlington.
Visit our online map for directions and parking locations. Free parking is available in lots F11 and F12 on the map.
