Dear All,
Yesterday at the Food Fair we were able to raise a record breaking $ 481.00 by selling Sri Lankan food! Needless to say, we are ecstatic about our earnings. This would not have been possible without the united efforts of SLSA’s members whose hard work and dedication we have always been able to count on. As a small community, Sri Lankan students at UTA have always united under Sri Lankan Students Association and have managed to achieve success in any task that we set out to do. So let’s continue the tradition and keep up the good work.

Advisor's comment on the food fair 2009:
Many thanks and congratulations to those who worked hard to prepare quality food, participated, and handled the sales at the booth. Selling closer to $500 of food in a few hours, especially considering the competition from other countries and organizations, is not an easy task.
