Park cleanup & Cookout
Park cleanup on Oct 17 (Saturday), 2009 :
Information about the park cleanup project:
This semester we will be cleaning the JW Dunlop Park (at 1500 NW Green Oaks Blvd), on Saturday, October 17 at 9:00 AM. We will be joined by Eta Kappa Nu candidates from UTA as well. We will be helping the Arlington Parks and Recreation Department with painting lightpoles and maintaing playgrounds at the park. You are advised to wear old clothes you won't mind getting dirty or full of paint, on the day of park cleanup.

On the day of park cleanup, and during office hours.
Initiation
- Initiation – November 21 (Saturday), 2009 from 4-9PM at Rady Room
- 4:00 - 4:10pm: Arrive by the big bent in the engineering mall for group picture
- 4:15 - 4:20pm: Group Picture
- 4:30pm: Initiation DOORS LOCKED, Rady Room, 6th Floor Nedderman Hall
- 4:30 - 5:30pm: Initiation, Rady Room, 6th Floor Nedderman Hall
- 5:30 - 6:00pm: Business Meeting and Officer Elections
- 6:00 - 9:00pm: Banquet, University Center Bluebonnet Ballroom
All Membership Requirements Due
October 31, 2009 by 6pm (no extensions) in the Tau Beta Pi office (608 NH) the following requirements are due:
- Verified participation in two service projects
- Verified participation in a social event
- Completed signature list
- Acceptably polished individual (small) bent
- Verified participation in large bent polishing
- Signed form from UTA graduate advisor (graduate candidates only)
- Paid $95.00 initiation dues (+$15 for each guest at the banquet)
Please collect the above requirements and turn them in all at once on or before the due date.
Note: It is recommended that graduate student letters and small bents be checked by a TBP office for completeness and quality of workmanship by the week prior to the due date to insure they are ready for turn-in.
