A Letter From the President

I don’t even know where to start. We ended last year being recognized as the Most Outstanding Chapter Under 25 Members. We set our sights high this year while still focusing on our grades. In addition to heavy class loads and busy schedules, Gamma Nu still found time to serve. Let’s see...Ranger Games, Uniform Room clean out, Stadium Storage clean out, BOA contest, Formal Tea Party, Braum’s Night, Dinner and an Opera, serving in the Union Gospel Mission Kitchen, Trick-o-Can, receptions, *deep breath* , a picnic and park clean up, water table for Dean Corey, financial support to the Marching Band, provided help with Marching Band registration, funding for banquet, Band Camp cookout, Uniforms again and created a new homework folder for Dr. Hunt’s door. With all of these activities, Gamma Nu will be taking a break for the remainder of the semester to allow members to focus on finals and enjoy the holidays. We will reconvene at the start of school in January with a calendar of exciting activities. What could these activities be?!, you may wonder. Just check out our new website for more details! We would like to welcome our newest member...

Celeste Griffith. We had a fun rush process this Fall and we are so excited to add Celeste to our chapter. She is going to be a great sister!

And finally, after a LOT of emails and bickering with the OIT department, Gamma Nu is the proud owner of a web site! We hope that having this website will help keep everyone updated and on the same page, especially our Alumni!

Overall the 2008 summer and Fall semester were quite productive and it brought a lot of new memories and lots of pictures! With positive outlooks and encouragement we hope to make the Spring semester even better!
