Spring 2010

Our spring social, co-hosted with Phi Alpha Theta was fun, thanks to Dr. Kyle for opening his home to us.

Our Spring 2010 book sale (April 21-22) was a triumph!  We made $653 – thanks to the faculty who donated books and the students who helped sell the books – a special thank you to Todd Holzaepfel, Ph.D. (2009), of the Downtown Fort Worth, Inc., for donating 47 boxes of books of all stripes; these books sold well.

Fall 2009

The Tenth Annual Graduate Student Symposium on Transatlantic History, entitled “Transatlantic Exploration in the Era of Humboldt,” (see the old call for papers) was held on Thursday, October 1, 2009, in the Library Parlor, Sixth Floor, Central Library – the presentations were very good and the symposium was well-attended by everyone but UTA graduate students.
