Membership
The Transatlantic History Student Organization (THSO)
seeks to include any graduate student interested in transnational history or
comparative history that deals with encounters, discoveries, and interaction
across frontiers and borders situated in the countries and continents
surrounding the Atlantic Basin.
Membership is not restricted to students in the Transatlantic History
Ph.D. program, and openly encourages membership from all graduate students of
any discipline.
To apply for membership print out the membership
application or stop by Student Organization Office, UH 317, and pick one up –
fill it out and return it to a THSO officer
or advisor THSO with your dues.
Dues are just $15 per semester (Fall or Spring) or just $25 per academic year.
With this money we are able to provide refreshments at
all of our meetings and host our increasingly popular yearly symposia on topic in transatlantic history.
Current members who wish to renew their dues or
personal information can either fill out a new application or visit with an
officer.
