Officer Meeting Minutes
September 6, 2006
Officers: Cody Black, Cymbre Weatherly, Heather Torres, Jennifer Barnes, Miranda Newberry, Savannah Bradford
Proceedings:
Meeting began at 12:30
1st General Meeting:
- Miranda will make small information sheets for the students to fill out as they enter the meetings to ensure they meet the requirements.
- The students will be able to get pizza, snacks, and drinks after membership rules have been discussed.
Upcoming Events:
- Bake Sale October 9-13 and November 20-22
- Consider if we need incentives for participation in the bake sale (free tri- beta t-shirts)
- Volunteer opportunity at River Legacy, they are looking for volunteers that can work shifts.
- Miranda will find gift cards to give as gifts for our speakers.
Other Business:
- Dues went up to $45 for regular and $35 for associate members. The students who paid last year will be covered by the fundraisers, but all new members will need to pay new due amounts.
- Details about speakers for future meetings are being worked out
- Look into banking with Summit Bank
- Look into details about Tri-Beta t-shirts
