Requirements
Eligibility: Membership into the Texas Gamma chapter of UPE at the University of Texas at Arlington is open to all current UTA students who have been accepted into the CSE, SE, CS or INSY programs and meet the following requirements.
- CSE Department undergraduates must be admitted to the Professional Program with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better and in the top 30% of degree program.
- INSY Department undergraduates must be of Junior or Senior standing with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better and in the top 30% of degree program
- Graduate students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.7, be at least half way through degree program and have a letter of recommendation from advisor.
Additionally, UPE candidates must complete social and ceremonial requirements and two service requirements to be inducted into the society. See the following MS Word document for more information.
Application
UPE applicants that meet the above requirements criteria should complete the above Candidate Requirements form, and then print and fill out the following application.
Memebership Fee: A fee of $65.00 is for a lifetime membership into Upsilon Pi Epsilon and includes the UPE keypin.
