Working in Student Publications allows students to earn
valuable experience that complements coursework and prepares
them for careers in journalism and many other areas, to
become involved in a respected campus activity ... and
to earn a paycheck.

We employ about 70 students each semester. Currently
enrolled UTA students who meet UTA employment guidelines
are eligible to apply for these positions; all positions
are paid. Staff are selected through an application/interview
process. Qualifications, pay rates and work schedules vary
position-to-position. Positions include:

Most staff members are hired one semester at a time.
As each semesters staff is formed, applications are
accepted for all positions. After that time, as staff turnover
occurs during a semester, applications are accepted for
open positions ... and only for open positions. Position
openings are posted on the Student
Employment Services website and in the Student Publications
office, University Center lower level.
