The Texas Certified Public Manager Program is offered by Texas State University’s William P. Hobby Center for Public Service. In the North Central Texas region, TSU delivers the program through the UTA School of Urban and Public Affairs.

TSU has been designated by the governor of the state of Texas and the National Certified Public Manager Consortium to deliver the program throughout the state. The consortium accredits the program, which is designed for present and future leaders in public service. Texas is one of 25 states in the US where the CPM program is offered.

The program is endorsed by the CENTEX Chapter of the American Society of Public Administration (ASPA) and has been approved for continuing education credit by the County Commissioners Education Committee as mandated by the Texas State Legislature. The Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Education (TCLOSE) and the Texas State Board of Accountancy have also endorsed the CPM program for continuing education credits.
