Certificate Program Admission Requirements
Students wishing to enroll only in the Graduate Certificate Program but NOT to a graduate degree program may apply for admission to UT Arlington as a non-degree seeking student.
All applicants for the certificate program must have a 4-year bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university (or foreign equivalent).
Undergraduate GPA of 2.8 in the last 60 hours of undergraduate coursework is required for admission through the Graduate School.
Students with GPAs lower than 2.8 may be recommended for admission by the Certificate Advisor based on the following admission enhancing factors:
- the applicant’s work experience and level of responsibility;
- undergraduate degree course work relevant to the area of study. and
- two letters of recommendation.
Applications for the certificate programs are accepted and decisions made on a rolling basis.
Applications may be submitted online.
You are encouraged to submit your application and application fee first to the Graduate School either on-line or via hardcopy.
