Financial Aid Application

To be considered for SUPA Financial Aid, please fill out this form and click the Submit button at the bottom of the page. This form must be received by April 1 in order to receive financial aid for Academic Year 2009-2010.

For information on the status of your application, contact Evelyn Lucas (see Staff page for contact information), seven to ten working days after submission. Please do NOT contact your graduate advisor about financial aid awards.

Graduate research assistantships require working for a SUPA faculty member 20 hours a week and taking at least nine credit hours a semester. The pay is approximately $550 a month. Appointments are for one semester only, so GRAs must reapply every semester. Summer positions are not automatically available. PhD students are given preference for appointment, but master's students are often appointed. If you are interested in a GRA position, please respond, as appropriate, below.

Texas Chapter American Planning Association (TXAPA) Scholarship
City and Regional Planning students are eligible for scholarship awards made possible by the Educational Foundation of the Texas Chapter of the American Planning Association. The fund provides a number of $500 scholarships each year. Awarded on the basis of need and scholastic achievement, recipients are eligible to pay in-state tuition for the period of the scholarship.
