Green Chemistry: Development of Sustainable Methods of Chemical Synthesis through Biomimetic Catalysis

Summary of Current and Ongoing Research

Our laboratory is developing organocatalysts derived from Vitamin B2 (riboflavin), Nature’s prolific redox active catalytic center. We hope to use sustainable oxidants with reduced impacts on health, safety, and the environment.
