EDUCAUSE is a nonprofit association whose mission is to advance higher education by promoting the intelligent use of information technology.

The Transformed Academy
This presentation will examine trends in higher education that are either being seen or are anticipated as a function of information technology and its effect on the learning environment. The combined effects of technology, demography and economics will be explored as they affect the roles within higher education. IT trends will be examined, as well as their impact on organizational structures on campus, the marketplace for higher education, the culture of our institutions and the business practices that we employ, all leading to both a turbulent and transformed enterprise.

Students and Dr. Brian Hawkins
The Honors College will host an interactive session for all students (not just Honors students) who want to meet and talk with Dr. Hawkins.
