Digital Photography Competition

Work will be evaluated based on the quality of ideas and the execution of the work. The selected artworks will be exhibited during the Technology Fair at the UTA University Center. The juror will choose the top pieces to be exhibited during the Technology Fair on Nov. 16th.

Awards:

• A grand prize of a Canon Rebel digital camera courtesy of Arlington Camera
• A second prize of $100
• Two honorable mentions

The award presentations will be at 2 pm in the vendor exhibit hall, Bluebonnet Room, in the University Center.

Juror:

Benito Huerta, Associate Professor of Art/Curator of The Gallery at UTA

Requirements:

Must be a UTA student (enrolled in at least 9 hours)

Submissions:

Students can submitone digital/photographic work. The image must show evidence of digital means or manipulation in the completion of the work. All submissions must be turned in to Associate Professor Andrew Ortiz on Novemeber 10, 2005, from 2-5 pm in FA 342. If you are unable to turn in work during these hours, make prior arrangements with Prof. Ortiz. Prints must be unmatted.
