Julienne Greer has been involved in the performing arts for nearly four decades. She is a director, instructor, performer, producer, writer, and scholar of film, stage, and most recently game studies. She earned a B.F.A. in Drama from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and an M.A. in Media Arts from Texas Christian University’s College of Communication. Her work has been produced in New York and Los Angeles as well as regionally across the United States. She has authored a paper “Digital Companions: Analyzing the emotive connection between players and non-player character companions in video game space” which was accepted to the 2011 Videogame Cultures and the Future of Interactive Entertainment conference at Mansfield College in Oxford, UK. This paper was also invited to be expanded into a full chapter for the next hard-copy publication by Videogame Cultures. Julienne is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Texas-Dallas. |
