David Navalinsky, MFA  

  David is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Theatre Arts at The University of Texas at Arlington where he also serves as the Technical Director and Production Manager.  He is also the Technical Director for the Illinois Shakespeare Festival in Bloomington-Normal, IL.  David received his MFA in Technical Direction from the University of Arizona. David spent two years as Instructor and Technical Director at the University of Mississippi in Oxford, MS where he was also the Managing Director for the inaugural season of the Oxford Shakespeare Festival.  Before Ole Miss David was the Master Carpenter for South Coast Repertory in Orange County California.  During his career David has worked at The Utah Shakespeare Festival as well as spending two seasons with the Karamu Performing Arts Theatre in Cleveland, OH.
