The University of Texas at Arlington

The Educational Talent Search Program at The University of Texas at Arlington provides free college, career, and financial aid information to over 600 middle school and high school students each year. Talent Search identifies and selects students who demonstrate the potential postsecondary enrollment and provides them with the motivation and support to enroll in a program of postsecondary education (college, university, technical or vocational school) after high school graduation.





High School Student Council (HSSC) We are currently looking for our new student council members for the 2009-10 school year. Interested students should be in 11th or 12th grade and be attending school in the Arlington School District. Please review the guidelines for details about each position.

Hutcheson Junior High Youth Committee (HYC) We are currently seeking new Youth Committee members for the 2009-10 school Year. Interested students should be in the 7th or 8th grade and attending Hutcheson Junior High in the Arlington School District. Please review guidelines for the details about each position.

Parent Volunteer Association (PVA) We are currently seeking volunteers for the Parent Volunteer Association for the 2009-10 school year. Interested parents must have an active student enrolled in the Educational Talent Search program at UT Arlington. Parents will be required to submit an application and pass a background check. Please review guidelines for details about the association.
