Sustainable Leadership: Diversity and Community Engagement

Communities across the nation currently face a number of challenges ranging from a difficult economy to establishing sustainable environmental practices that will help their citizens thrive for years to come. UT Arlington students are well positioned to explore these issues and begin making an impact right here in their own community.
The Sustainable Leadership FIG will focus on building leadership skills, service to the community, career development, and an exploration of the ways that sustainability efforts will impact our communities. Students will work with local charities and leaders from the university and the City of Arlington to develop important relationships and to make a difference in the lives of others.
This FIG is designed for students who are interested in community service, sustainability, and those looking for a flexible and fun way to get involved as a leader at UT Arlington.
