Business: The CEOs of Tomorrow

The College of Business Administration seeks freshmen intending to major in a business discipline, or students with an interest in business to participate in the Business: The CEOs of Tomorrow. Students who join this classic FIG will enroll in business courses as a freshman, participate in problem-solving activities in a “business” environment, and rapidly meet the admission requirements of the College of Business Administration at UT Arlington.

FORCES (Engineering)
Type: Classic
The FORCES FIG is sponsored by the College of Engineering and the National Science Foundation’s S-STEM Program. To be in the FORCES group, you must meet all the conditions and requirements of the FORCES scholarship. Recipients of the scholarship are automatically entered into the FORCES group and need not complete the standard FIG application.

Sustainable Leadership: Diversity and Community Engagement
Type: Classic
Communities across the nation currently face a number of challenges ranging from a difficult economy to establishing sustainable environmental practices that will help their citizens thrive for years to come. UT Arlington students are well positioned to explore these issues and begin making an impact right here in their own community.
The Sustainable Leadership FIG will focus on building leadership skills, service to the community, career development, and an exploration of the ways that sustainability efforts will impact our communities. Students will work with local charities and leaders from the university and the City of Arlington to develop important relationships and to make a difference in the lives of others.
This FIG is designed for students who are interested in community service, sustainability, and those looking for a flexible and fun way to get involved as a leader at UT Arlington.
