Join a Themed Learning Community
How to Join if you are an incoming Freshman Student, who will be attending a New Maverick Orientation Program
- If you have not done so already, you will need to register for an Orientation program. You may attend any available orientation date, but we recommend you attend one in June.
- At the New Maverick Orientation Program, pick up an Ecology of Writing schedule, share this schedule with your advisor and then simply enroll in the required class and your other classes.
How to join if you are not attending a New Maverick Orientation Program, or if you have already attended one
- Complete a Themed Learning Community Application online.
- Wait for a confirmation e-mail letting you know that you have been admitted into the Themed Learning Community.
- Add the required ENGL 1301 course to your schedule in MyMav
