Maverick Stampede (a.k.a. Welcome Week) is the official kick-off to the new academic year. This first week of classes is filled with fun and exciting programs centered on integrating new and returning students back to campus. Students are given the opportunity to participate in events throughout the week that will allow them to experience tradition, engage with their academic departments, meet other students, and overall become familiar with campus.
Maverick Stampede kicks off before classes begin with Residence Hall Move-in. Check out the events calendar to find out about all the exciting activities. So, round up all your new and old friends and get ready to “git roped in” to all the fun of Maverick Stampede.
